I was thinking about these different strengths and how unique they are even among siblings. Do you think it is nature or nurture that gives our kids these unique traits? It must be so fun to have a super imaginative little one and one that you know will be a leader!
He got a toy golf set for his birthday and, never having played with one before, whacked that ball perfectly! I was amazed! He also seems to feel no pain. My daughter, who is nearly one, is very determined. Put a road block baby gate in front of her and she figures out a way around it or over it. She watched another kid climbing the stairs and went right up them herself. Wow, Leah, those are wonderful strengths. I love when we put our little ones in new situations and they just amaze us.
Thanks for sharing this! She says everything she's coming up with is too cheezy. My children are special because they make me stop and realize how precious and special life truly is. They humble me. They make me slow down and enjoy life, though they grow up too fast funny how that works They make everything an adventure. They amaze me by how intelligent they are.
And specifically, my DS is special because he saved my life. My daughter is special because she is a miracle!
