After I showed the kids the large creepy centipede I put the fish bowl in the shade outside. This morning the centipede had layed a large clutch of yellow eggs and had them nestled in a ball, protected by her legs.
A little more then I bargained for, but I read online it takes a month for the eggs to hatch and I don't want to disturb to mother from her eggs. So I am wondering about longer term care from a centipede and babies. Especially what is best to keep them in, if the babies will be able to climb, and should there container have a lid?
Parker - In '68 outside Kontum, Vietnam we set up a camp on a nearby hill. We found numerous inch centipedes.
