Why is similac sensitive so foamy

We then switched to Enfimil Gentlease, and LO gags at the taste of it. He literally gags! I've used the Similac Sensitive for 3 months now and it is foamy but she doesnt seem to mind-doesnt cause her gas or discomfort just have to burp her good. The next time I made him a bottle of it, I stirred it in with a spoon instead of shaking, and it worked great. It wasn't frothy. I also use the Similac sensitive and find it foamy. We started mising the formula and water in one bottle and pouring it into another leaving out the foam.

Not sure what kind of bottle you are using. SweetBC, I use this formula and I was shaking it till I started using a butter knife to stir it up you get hardly any bubbles my don has been less gassy he toots a lot but it doesn't bother him. SweetBC, I understand what you mean. We just switched formulas from Similac Advanced to Similac Sensitive.
